Since about half our attendees are from Mobile, we are including both cities, and will arrange meetings in each city once every two months.  To make the meetings the best possible, in the coming weeks Mark will be sending out surveys to get all members' input on location, time, food, etc. 

The next meeting of GCSQL will be in Mobile 6:30pm Thursday, April 25 at the University of South Alabama Library Room 181 (Same location as the Lower Alabama .Net User Group).  This is a new location for us.

Everyone knows that SQL Server can be virtualized, but most are only virtualizing development and testing environments. Top-tier production workloads can be virtualized too, and David Klee (@kleegeek) will provide valuable insight into how to properly prepare for and implement a successful virtualization campaign for ALL of your SQL Server environments and prepare your organization for the change. Practical tips, tricks, and gotcha’s will be discussed in this dynamic dialog session.
